Why Family Culture Matters at Repair Makers (and Why It Should Matter to You)
By Pate, Founder & Owner of Repair Makers
Let me just say this up front: Repair Makers isn’t just a business—it’s family. Literally.
We’ve got several family members working together here, and I’m not just talking about sharing a last name. I’m talking about the kind of family vibe where we’ve got each other’s backs, where we step in when someone needs help, and where respect, trust, and accountability aren’t buzzwords—they’re how we operate day to day.
When I started Repair Makers, I didn’t set out to build a “corporate” culture. I wanted to build something that felt real. Something rooted in the way I was raised—treat people right, do solid work, and own your mistakes when they happen. That’s how my family rolls, and that’s how our team does, too.
So why does that matter to you—our customer?
Because the way we treat each other behind the scenes shows up in the work we do for you.
We care about the details. We take pride in showing up on time, doing what we say we’re going to do, and going the extra mile when it counts. If your equipment is down, we don’t see that as “just another job.” We get it—it’s urgent, and it matters. That’s someone’s patient care on the line. We act like it’s our own equipment, because honestly, that’s how we’d want someone to treat us.
And if we ever fall short? We own it and make it right. That’s a family value, too.
The way I see it, when you work with Repair Makers, you’re not dealing with a cold, distant vendor. You’re working with people who are personally invested in doing the right thing. We look out for each other, and we’ll look out for you, too.
So yeah—family matters to us. It’s in the DNA of how we do business, and we think you’ll feel the difference.
Thanks for trusting us,
